Día de Muertos custom calavera

from $50.00
sold out

This is a pre-order. Skulls are made and delivered in October, close to Día de Muertos. More details on pickup dates and times when we get closer to October.

Sugar skulls to celebrate Día de Muertos. Calaveras are traditionally decorated with the name of a loved one who has died in order to celebrate and honor their life. The skull is placed on an ofrenda (altar) alongside a candle, their favorite food, and a picture of them to welcome them back to our world for the night. Sometimes sugar skulls can also be decorated with the name of a child or family member who has not died, or yourself, just for fun.

  • customized with your name or the name of a loved one

  • large calaveras are approximately 4.5”x4.5”x4.5”

  • medium calaveras are approximately 2.5”x2.5”x2.5”

  • local pickup in LA, SF Bay Area, and Sacramento Area only (the skulls are too fragile to ship) - choose local pickup at checkout. For hand-delivery instead of pickup, an additional fee will be charged depending on delivery location, to be arranged after purchase, or email/DM to sort it out before purchase

  • these can be used for years to come - I’ve kept mine in plastic bins and reused them on my altar for multiple years
